The Bucs and I go way back. I was a member of their Pep Band in 1977, the first year of the team's existence.
When I get a scanner that works, I'll post our drumline's picture, taken in front of Veteran's Stadium in 1977. Hugh Culverhouse, in a rare show of generosity, flew the band and the cheerleaders up for the game. My two main memories of the trip were being hit on the side of the head by a punt during pre-game warm-ups, and getting wasted on free champagne while our flight circled Tampa International Airport waiting to land.
